I was most impressed that his persona on screen was also how he conducted himself in real life. Kind, intelligent, caring, the consummate professional. I am saddened to hear of his passing. Broadcast journalism has truly lost a shining star from their ranks, but somewhere out there he joins the broadcast team of those greats who have proceeded him.
