I've been to several of these, and especially enjoyed California's Mineral and Mining Museum as well as Manzanar. I'll definitely have to check out the few of these I haven't gone to. You may also want to check out the museum at Sierra Community College in Rocklin, California. It's in their science building and most people don't even realize it exists, don't forget to check out the ceiling if you do visit it.
