Tonight I was able to attend (albeit getting there 45 minutes late) this month's
San Luis Obispo Gem & Mineral Club meeting. However, I made it in time to take in Vice President Mike Sheffer's presentation on types of igneous rocks which was a great thing given the geology illiteracy even within the rockhounding community. I was also able to get the ball rolling on some advertising expenses for our upcoming show this June. Unfortunately, I did miss the Find of the Month contest. There appears to be no field trip scheduled for this month.
