I have always loved and preferred (and am a collector of) raw footage/stock footage of both storms, wildfires, earthquakes, volcanoes, and even tsunamis. The edited video we mostly see has been emasculated and lobotomized to fit an editorialized version of events even if that is an impartial one with pure motives. San Jacinto Mountains and tonight threatened to destroy the beloved mountain berg of
Idyllwild, CA. What follows is nearly 40 minutes of great footage. Given it is over 10 minutes long (Youtube's time limit for most videos) I doubt this will stay up so enjoy it here while you can.
