Rim Fire Webcam View #7

This is the view of the Rim Fire burning this morning at 10:11 a.m. showing it already starting to generate pyrocumulus clouds this early in the day which does not bode well. The fire is a conflagration which has burned over 105,000 acres within the Stanislaus National Forest with little containment worth noting. That acreage figure is about double the 53,000 acres it was the day before. It has crossed over into Yosemite National Park and threatens Hetch Hetchy as well as the community of Pine Mountain Lake which is now fully evacuated. This view was taken by the webcam at Crane Flat Helibase in Tuolumne County.
