Meme of the Week - Alex Jones Is A ?#@$&%! Christian

This is classic Alex Jones at his crass, vulgar, over-the-top, bombastically bloviating best/worst, juxtaposed with the contrastingly tranquil voice and sound of Enya. Enjoy!

Emo Kid

Tonight while going through emails that I received today I saw a link to a somewhat funny emo-mocking Youtube short program. I did not especially care for it but throughout viewing it my mind kept going back to this gem of emo-mockery from the mid-2000's during the peak of the popularity of Myspace where Cal Poly students Adam & Andrew produced and performed a novelty song entitled "Emo Kid" which went viral. Finding the whole emo thing quite annoying it was love at first hearing for me in regards to this song.

Sum Ting Wong Here

Earlier today the Bay Area's Fox affiliate KTVU-TV aired a broadcast in which they erroneously reported the alleged, but actually humorously, unpolitically-correct, smart-aleck false names of the pilots aboard ill-fated Asiana Flight 214. Some politically-correct dip-shits had the temerity to suggest this was racist but then again we expect nothing less from such self-righteous sticks-in-the-mud.

Below is the misguided/misdirected retraction a short time later in the same broadcast. Of course, since the original error was at the NTSB the only apology need come from them. That being said, it is a bit surprising nobody at the station picked up on the error and questioned it before broadcasting it. This just goes to demonstrate what happens when media types try to be the first to report something.

Of course, this all brings to mind the famous (infamous?) Robert De Niro SNL skit (below) following the 9/11 attacks which employed the same sort of supposedly racist type jokes making light of ethnic names but in the context Arabic-sounding names that were actually mostly just vulgar. Of course, in that context there was little if any outcry heard unlike in this case.

Homophobic Batman

This hilarious (NSFW) spoof of the Batman-Joker Interrogation Scene in the film The Dark Knight is something I actually saw BEFORE I ever watched any of the actual film strangely enough. I have heretofore neglected to share this on my blog but now seems perfect given the previous post here features the original scene in the film to which this spoof refers. Enjoy, but be aware it is not for all tastes.

Finding The Perfect Girl

This is a banned advertisement of the sort never intended for television airing but for Youtube consumption. I found it quite by accident a few years ago and never forgot it for obvious reasons and now I share it with you here. It's hilarious but also a bit off-color in light of the context of the sexuality (singles bar scene), NOT the suggested sexuality itself (fellatio) which is not dirty, of course. Note: I just now "got" the double-double entendre with the cork.

40-Year Old Virgin-Waxing Scene

Who cannot remember the infamous chest-waxing scene in the movie "The 40-Year Old Virgin"? What many/most people who have seen that scene don't realize is how much of that was not acted and how much funnier the real-life behind-the-scenes version of that scene was compared to the version featured in the movie. Watch below:

Satisfaction

The already popular track "Satisfaction" by Italian house and electro master Benny Benassi hit #2 in the United Kingdom in 2004 when Ministry of Sound created a new video for it (bottom) replacing the already quirky original video (top) which came out the year previous. While the original video makes me think of Stephen Hawking the bottom video makes me think of power tools. Speaking of those power tools, the women featured in the second video handling said implements include models Jerri Byrne, Lena Frank, Natasha Mealey, and Thekla Roth.

Of Minerals & Mammaries

This hilarious music video is a comedy short by Rachel Bloom, the woman who has stolen my big, clumsy, fragile heart away from the inimitable Kate Beckinsale. In it she mentions actual minerals (yep, you read that right) not once, but TWICE all the while also mentioning french kissing in a go-cart and touching boobies. As a life-long fan of minerals AND boobies how can I not now have a big honking crush on this woman? Below are the lyrical highlights (some might say lowlights but those would have to be stick-in-the-mud types like Golda Meir).

"We'll lick tongues in a go-cart and you'll tell me fun facts about minerals."
"Wow, amethyst is a type of quartz? For that you can touch my boobies!"

Is it just me or does this video seem to suggest only dorks and geeks like minerals? Geesh! Apparently, we rockhound types still have a lot of work to do in hippifying our hobby (yes, I just invented a new word there!).

In other related news, the geologist in the new sci-fi thriller Prometheus is a complete idiot and one of the first to die in the movie as a result. We earth science people can't catch any breaks!

Oh, and YES, we males at and around the age of 12 (as with the boy in the video) do indeed ponder (and sometimes dream) rather frequently and longingly upon topics ranging from where babies come from to the wonders of boobies and girly parts to how hot particular teachers are and how we wouldn't mind getting involved with them and other such related matters. I can also testify to the fact that by age 42 nothing in regards to any of this has changed one iota!

Sam Kinison On Marriage & World Hunger

The late Sam Kinison in his earliest televised performance and this was certainly his best performance.
