This piece entitled "After" by artist Wide Open Cage was used in the first scene at The Admiral's Arms vampire club in the movie "Queen of the Damned", in particular when you see the young vampire couples dancing on a stage to the house music.
This piece is entitled "Confusion" (Pump Panel Reconstruction Remix) by New Order . This plays near the beginning of the movie "Blade" in the sequence in the meat packing factory turned underground vampire club where vampires groove and grind on the dance floor climaxing with a literal blood shower... and a visit by Blade.
"Eternity and a Day" by Paul Haslinger is the gorgeous musical piece used throughout various parts of the first two Underworld movies that is essentially the score for the movie. I have not watched the third movie in the franchise as Kate Beckinsale is not in it so what's the point in watching it?
This is a hot remix of Paul Haslinger's "Eternity and a Day" as created by the electronica artist SineSkeller. I would so love to see this used in a vampire club scene with the main character of that movie franchise, Selene, dancing solo or with a new vampire love interest... I'm tired of the character of Michael with whom her character is currently involved.
This electronica piece entitled "Starfire" by Alexander Perls seems perfectly suited to either play in an actual vampire movie or at least be on the soundtrack to such and play during the end credits... perhaps used in the segue from the final scene into those end credits.
beautiful!
ReplyDeleteJust makes me want to go out and re-dye my hair black :)
ReplyDeleteI totally fell in love with the "Eternity and a Day" remix. Downloading it now as an mp3... and although I heartily agree with your choices, leave Michael to me... bwah-ha-ha. I have plans for him. ;-)
ReplyDeletePS Would've responded sooner, but internet was out then more technical drama.
Underworld 4 is in production right now and Selene is back after not appearing in the third installment of the franchise.
ReplyDeleteWow, it has been nearly four years since we last talked about this. The 4th movie came out and wasn't as bad as I feared it might be but it also was not quite as good as the previous offerings in the franchise. Now there is going to be a 5th movie in the franchise which will feature Selene but may not focus on her as much as on David who emerged in the 4th movie which would be a generational marketing ploy given the actor who plays him is a heartthrob for the younger set.
