Of Oak Woodland Destruction

I captured this scene of wanton destruction a couple of weeks ago in late February on a property adjacent to one upon which I was working. undoubtedly, this land alteration is taking place to make way for viticulture. However, I do wonder if what was approved by the County of San Luis Obispo (if at all) is what actually took place on this site. This site is located in a drainage within the main ridgeline due north of Adelaida Road and due south of Nacimiento Lake Drive and its spur Oak Flat Road and its spur Hampton Lane. Indeed, I suspect the property in question is accessed from Hampton Road (or perhaps Oak Flat Road) and not from the Adelaida Road side of the ridge.
