Assemblage of Druzy Quartz (Chalcedony-filled) stalactites from Maharashtra, India.
Selenite "soaps" and "hearts" from Morocco.
Scolecite with Heulandite in basalt from Maharashtra, India.
Artificially-irradiated Smokey Quartz from Coleman Mine, Arkansas.

  1. Kim: You are becoming quite adept at close-up photography--care to share any of your secrets on that?

  2. Thanks, Lin!

Wayne, I continue learn the settings on my camera and match up the settings to fit the particular image I am trying to capture. I've always had an eye for framing good images but not the knowledge of how to take them and I still have a long way to go.... I'm also learning little tricks on how to steady my camera when holding it to take a shot.

  3. I'm curious and I want to know if there are any good books out there about eclectic paganism. I feel in my heart that I want to follow a spiritual path and I've read about many traditional pagan paths and about wicca, but it just doesn't seem quite right. I have searched for information about eclectic paganism on the web and I can't find ANYTHING. Any help from your own knowledge of suggestions for books or websites would be greatly appreciated

    1. Pagan Seeker,

I am not quite sure why you posted this question of your's on this particular blog article of mine given it has nothing to do with your question.

Nor do I understand why you think I would have the answer to your question given that I am decidedly non-Pagan and non-Wiccan.

My best guess is that given you are looking for something "eclectic" in Paganism and this blog uses the word "eclectic" in its title that you figured that was close enough.

However, if you wish to know more about "eclectic" Christianity I would be glad to answer any of your questions! ;-p
