A few weeks ago while traveling through Southern California I listened to the following most extraordinary account on National Public Radio's local affiliate
KCRW. I have been haunted by the story of Dang Thuy Tram ever since. Her story is both breathtakingly beautiful and soul-crushingly sorrowful... contradictions in orders of magnitude seldom achieved outside of wartime.
