The 22nd Annual Rockhound Roundup Gem, Mineral, & Jewelry Show is set for three weekends from now May 4-5, 2013, at the Pioneer Museum and Pioneer Park in Paso Robles, CA. The show admission and parking are free and it will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The show will be hosting one time only the above 1320-pound meteorite, one of the largest privately-owned meteorites in the U.S. There will be over 30 dealers selling an assortment of rocks, minerals, gems, fossils, jade, jewelry, crystals, meteorites and other cool stuff. The club will host a specimen display case competition, demonstrations of various lapidary activities, a silent auction, raffle, geode cracking service, youth activities including a mineral identification hunt, as well as a country store and Santa Maria-style barbecue hosted by the Native Sons of the Golden West.
