Picture of the Day - First Fruits of 2013

This is the contents of my shared half-bushel basket from Kiler Canyon Farm with this being their first week of the 2013 harvest season. The following items are present in this pile: cilantro, dill, arugula, kale, radishes, oregano, salad mix, head lettuce, braising mix, spinach, garlic, and sconions. The potent earthy and "herby" odors coming off of this pile are tantalizing. I look forward to participating in one of the weekly harvests soon and will share it here when I do.
