Picture of the Day - ARTery Wall Mural

The controversial wall mural by local artist Reilly Baker on the west wall at The Artery in Atascadero, CA, as seen this afternoon. A fair number of A-Town "provincials" got their panties in a wad about this non-sign as it pertains to the city's rather draconian municipal signage ordinances.  Atascadero Conservatives get upset about any hint of culture aside from kitchy arts and crafts and "enlightened" Atascadero Liberals support ideological anality such as the new bag ban. I'm so glad that after serving a 27-year sentence I finally escaped the asylum known locally variously as Atascabama and Atrashcadero.

    1. A good bull-whipping should suffice! ;-p

It's not a bad place to live and yet there is a dark cloud of bad karma hanging over the place going all the way back to the beginning with founder E.G. Lewis and his mail fraud conviction for amongst other things, suggesting Atascadero was at the coast given that it owned a beach. ;-p

  2. Alas! Let it be known! (for their are so few whom make the decision "Red Pill" rather than Blue)

First; It is against my better judgement, to voice my opinions in open format, ((anymore anyways)) too coin a phrase "Opinions are like assh*les... Everybody's got one" yet more importantly, Those whom differ of that of the majority, fall only upon deaf ears.

...and still, I find it enlightening, or is it amusing, (I'm not exactly sure anymore) when I note others whom see we've been duped, The Brass Ring? The American Dream? who sold us on these wonky ideals? perhaps the majority is misinformed.

Anyways, Welcome to Reality my friend. I commend you! It's not as comfortable here, yet notice your vision is far more clear to see without that annoying rose colored tint hindering your view.

    1. Webb-master,

As you well know there is an old saying, "the masses are asses"! For some strange reason another old saying just came to mind along with it: "the peasants are revolting... they're very revolting!"

Anywho, yes, we've sipped of the Kool-Aid but alas I fear we made it ourselves!
