This is an impressive sight on the 143, 980 acre Rim Fire burning on the Stanislaus National Forest and Yosemite National Park in Tuolumne County, CA, as seen from Crane Flat Helibase via their webcam. At nearly 8 p.m. there is still a hint of pyrocumulus clouds over one convection column at right despite the sun having set some time ago and there is a lot of glow to be seen as well. |
