I took this image earlier this evening at the bible study on Atascadero's West Side to which I was in attendance. A storm front had just past through and unsettled scattered thunderstorm activity in the form of cold air cumulus (and in some cases cumulonimbus) was prevalent throughout the area and further to the east with a raging thunderstorm in the area of the Grapevine a short time before I captured this image over a 120 miles to the northwest. In fact, around the time I shot this image my mother living elsewhere in Atascadero heard distant thunder from cells further to the east.
