The Dark Knight Rises Ending

The other night I showed my mother the wonderful trilogy-completing Christopher Nolan-directed film The Dark Knight Rises. She has repeatedly since commented to me how great she thought the movie ended which is unlike her and I have to agree. I love the movie overall and feel it was the best of the trilogy and that each movie in the set was great but was better than the one before. Ending a movie really well just as ending a work of literature really well is difficult to do. I feel this movie has one of the better theatrical endings of any movie I have seen. It's good not because it ends on a positive note but rather in how it was executed. Enjoy it below:
