Late this morning while I was working at
Heritage Ranch a controlled burn at
Camp Roberts escaped containment and ran wild for a few hours requiring
Cal Fire aircraft to be called in to assist. Over the course of the few hours it was running amok on the post I snapped the following images from my work site. The fire consumed
10,000 acres. Note in each photo the
pyrocumulus cloud formations.

I guess their prescribed burn was a little more extensive than they planned! (dave z)
