Today was the set-up day for the 54th Annual Cayucos Gem & Mineral Show hosted by the
San Luis Obispo Gem & Mineral Club at the
Cayucos Vets Hall. I have always found the process of set-up and break-down of events as being almost magical in an illusory and mirage-like fashion. First it is not there and then it appears and then it disappears as if it was never there and within a short span of time. Below are some images I captured of the genesis and evolution of the show.
